EMMA's Story...
★★ EMMA “Momma sans Pups” & #AVAILABLE Staffordshire Terrier Mix #Dog (6-15-14-1) Young • Female • Medium ★★

EMMA, approximately 1 year old, 47 lbs, heart worm negative, poor Emma came into the shelter full of milk but no puppies. With a reunion with her babies unlikely, she is seemingly unaware of this sad turn of events. Emma is very happy and friendly, a real sweetheart, outgoing, loves treats, people oriented, loves attention, loves to lie on her back stretched out in your lap (it seems that she has done this a lot with her former owner), well mannered, easy going, good-natured, okay being handled as we pulled on her toes, tail, and ears, loves to run and play but not interested in toys at this time, agile, smart, learning the sit command, Emma is a sweetie in need of a forever home where she is a valued member of your home. EMMA is up to date on all shots as are all of the animals at Tehama County Animal Care Center. As we get more information on EMMA’s personality we will be EMMA to share.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EMMA, a Red Bluff Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Red Bluff, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Red Bluff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Red Bluff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Red Bluff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Red Bluff paves the way for another one to be saved.
