Annabel/Annie's Story...
Hi folks. My name is Annabel but they call me Annie. I was at a very bad place when my rescue got me. They said the shelter was full and there was no more room left for me. Thanks goodness they came and got me out to keep me safe. My foster mommy says that I am very sweet and smart. I think she is right about that. I like all the doggies that are here and I even like the kitties too. After only a few days in my foster home I became sick. They took me to the doctor right away and he said I had parvo. I had to stay at the hospital for week, but I got better and now I am back home. they said I was a very lucky girl. I get to go back soon and get all my shots and they will also fix me so I will not ever have any unwanted puppies. When that is done I will be ready for my new furever home. I am crate and house trained cause I am super smart.I know sit and shake and I walk well on a leash. So if you would like to meet me or if you just have questions about me please call Tamara at 919-624-1981

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabel/Annie, a Apex Bluetick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bluetick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Apex, or seeking a Bluetick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bluetick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Bluetick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
