~ABOUT ME~

My name is Diogi, (pronounced D.O.G.). I am a smart, energetic boy who was likely never trained prior to coming to POET. For that reason I should go to an experienced owner who will be patient with me and enroll me in obedience classes. My foster family is working on clicker training with me. I am a fast learner and really want to please, I just need time and patience. I LOVE to be outside more than anything. Someone outdoorsy would be perfect, maybe a hiker or a runner. I really like to swim and it helps me burn energy. I am sweet and love to have my human pay attention to me. I like to lay by your feet and chew on a bone. I like to eat and am food motivated. I am cute and very social with people and other dogs. I would do best with older children.
