Are you looking for a pet friend who will cuddle with you while you watch T.V. or read a book? Look no further, and apply to adopt me! My name is Millie, and I love cuddling beside my favorite human on the coach. Not to brag, I am a one gorgeous cat with a beautiful long orange coat. I love getting my coat brushed by my foster mom, and never want her to stop brushing me. My foster mom calls me a princess and just like princess should, I know my etiquette. My litter is always clean, I never make a mess. I like a calm and peaceful environment, and prefer a place without young children. Even though I am not very demanding I have some princess rules: (1) please always leave a space for me on your couch, I may decide to snuggle beside you to get head scratches. (2) I love being close to you, and follow you around but I don’t really like to get picked up unless you are my absolutely favorite. (3) I will play with those toys but only when my princess-self decided to do so. If you are ready to be ruled, gently but firmly, by a cat as attractive as I am, stop sitting there and fill in an application this instant. My people will be in touch. Millie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
