Begonia's Story...
Big fan of: Attention! Begonia is a sweet and loving girl that adores people. She absolutely loves to play with toys and is not picky about which kind..they are all fun!

Not a big fan: Begonia does not like to share the toys she is playing with and will do best in a home with children over ten years of age. While in a foster home Begonia was unsure around vacuum cleaners and other loud noises. She also chases cat so she would do best in a home without feline companions.

A little more…Begonia’s previous owners were not able to give her the best home so she is at PAWS looking for her forever home! She is an active Chihuahua mix that loves exercise.

Dream home: Begonia would love to live in a home where she can run and pay all day! It would be ideal for her be able to continue training as well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Begonia, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
