Here's what the humans have to say about me:
So here is Roxie's story
About 3 years ago Roxie was purchased from a breeder. Her family treated her well enough to keep her healthy, social, etc. Not too long ago the family decided to add chickens to their farm. Roxie became the ultimate "chicken chaser", which landed her in the county shelter. After hearing her story and seeing what a great dog Roxie was we could not leave her there. After all she already knew what it was like to live in a home environment.
Roxie is currently being fostered with kids, cats and dogs without a problem. She does tend to be the alpha female when she first comes into the house hold, but once she settles in that subsides. Roxie is house trained, and walks very well on the leash for a lab. She will make an excellent family dog for any "chickenless" family.
