Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 7/28/14:
Leslie is doing well in her new foster home, but would thrive in a permanent home where she can play with others. This girl can't wait to work on fetch, knows how to sit for attention, and is working on walking on a leash. We believe she had been hit by a car when found with a broken leg, and her distrust of large vehicles (think garbage trucks and construction equipment sounds) seems to reinforce this theory. Her healed leg isn't slowing her down a bit! She loves to run, play ball, and roll on the floor with our kids. Easily trainable and ready to please- at only a year and a half old, Aussie Leslie is looking for her forever home!
7/9/14: Leslie is a 1-1/2 year old female (35 pounds) that was found as a stray. When she was found, her leg had been injured and someone tried to use duct tape to fix it. The people that found her brought to a veterinarian where she was treated for her injuries. Every effort has been made to find her owners but no one has come forward.
It was touch and go for a while but she turned the corner and at this point the leg has healed very well. She has a small limp and her leg is a little crooked but it doesn't slow her down at all. Her personality has also grown greatly as her leg has healed. When she arrived she was a very scared and insecure puppy. As her leg has healed she has built up her confidence and can run like the wind. The bandage has now been removed and she is ready for her new forever home!
