Angel's Story...
Can't get much better than this girl! Angel has lived her whole life in the country with other dogs, cats, chickens and young children. She lost her loving home when her momma was forced to sell her property and move in with family after a financially devastating divorce. This little girl was loved and nurtured by her family and the 3 wonderfully tolerant older dogs that have done a good job raising her to be a gentle and social girl. Angel is currently in foster care and this is what her foster momma says about her: "She is amazing with CATS! As well as with chickens (although she does like to play with the chickens and pull feathers), goats, alpacas, ducks and geese. She is incredibly sweet natured, easy going, smart and pretty much all around adorable." Angel just turned a year old in April.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Eugene Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
