Nora is a female Yorkshire Terrier mix approximately 1 ½ years in age. She has a gorgeous, shiny, golden coat marbled with chocolate brown that is non-shedding. Her coat is amazing, appearing to have undertones of spun gold glowing from within. Nora currently weighs 8 1/2 pounds full-grown. She is devoted and trusting to those she knows and loves to be snuggled safe and warm. With a kind word and gentle voice, Nora will approach waiting to be scooped up and snuggled in for a long hug. Nora plays gently and can be seen following the other dogs around as they explore things in the yard. She is doing well with her potty skills and enjoys the grass outside. Although she is a bit shy, she will make friends easily and stick close by trusted family members. When Nora sees a familiar face, she bounces on her hind feet and wiggles with delight. Nora is waiting for that special home to share devotion, love, trust, and tender hugs with. She was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter and although her past is unknown we have a feeling it wasn't very nice. This little gem deserves a whole lot better. She was meant to be a pampered princess. Nora is healthy and ready for her new forever loving home today!

Nora’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She will be SPAYED and has been MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Nora is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Nora at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, JULY 12th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NORA, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
