Hi, my name is ReeCee, and I am patiently waiting with my foster parents until I can be united with my forever family. At 4.5 years old with an approximate birthdate of 1/5/2010.
I am by far the cutest, sweetest little dog you will ever meet. My sleek, short hair is the color of black coal with caramel highlights, and I hardly shed at all. My soft brown eyes will melt your heart. I weigh approximately 6 pounds and I am the perfect size to fit snugly in your lap for as long as you will let me lay there.
I love regular massages, and if you stop petting me too soon, I will be sure to let you know licking your face repeatedly until you begin rubbing behind my ears again.
At night, I prefer to cuddle by your side under the covers, and I promise to wait until the morning to be let outside. However, if you do decide that you would rather leave me in a crate or in another room, I will wait patiently although being alone makes me sad! When you do come to get me though, I will hardly be able to contain my excitement! I usually prance around and tap my front feet on the ground back and forth rapidly because I am so happy!!
I love going outside, and I look forward to daily walks where I can sniff everything and bask in the sunlight.
I have very good manners, and I never have accidents inside or bark excessively. I am too proud to beg for food, but if you offer me a treat in return for sitting nicely, I will be happy to oblige. I LOVE stuffed animals, and if you throw one, I simply cannot resist chasing it. However, if one if my foster siblings wants it as well then I will disappointedly allow them to enjoy the toy instead. In fact, I try very hard, at all costs to not upset my furry brothers and sisters and let them have everything they want... I prefer peace!
My sincere wish is to find a family who will love me as much as I will love them since my former parents gave me and my sister up because they lost their home. Furthermore, I adjust to new people quickly, and I already know that I will be your best friend. In fact, I am frequently complimented by others on how well behaved I am, and I am proud to say some have described me as "the perfect dog."
I will be so grateful when I can finally settle in one place for the rest of my life with someone who will truly love me as their own. My current temporary home is in Louisville, KY, but my foster mom has promised me that she will transport me to my new forever home.
