Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stella!!! She is 8ish year old and very sweet. She was found with Frannie as a stray but loves humans. She is so happy to have a shot at a forever home.
UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Stella can’t quite keep up with the young’uns, but she tries! If we’ve gone too far, she’ll stop and I have to go back to her, kiss her on the head, and give her some words of encouragement. Her joint supplements and arthritis medicine help a ton, though.
She doesn’t do stairs, so she’d do best in a ranch style home. She’s getting used to the hardwoods, but she prefers to wear her non-slip socks on her back two feet. She is able to get herself onto the couch, but sometimes needs help getting down. When I come downstairs in the morning, she’s waiting for me to come get her up. She even squints when I turn on the lights and starts rolling over, like she’s a teenager saying “just 5 more minutes!”
She’s an absolute doll and loves absolutely everyone she meets! She thrives on attention from her person and could be an only dog. But she also loves to follow my two around and be part of the gang, so she would fit in with other dogs, too. She does NOT like overly dominant or pushy dogs, and she gets nervous and whines when there’s growling or aggressive barking. She loves to try to get the bunnies in our yard, so I doubt she’d be good with cats but I can’t say for sure. She adores children, though.
