Becky's Story...
Becky is puppy. She was born with a front leg that didn't grow. This does not slow her down. She doesn't know life any differently. She is a larger Chihuahua / Terrier mix. We think she is around seven months old. She is trying to learn to go outside or use a potty pad to go potty. She is a typical pup and loves to play. She will play with toys. She likes to play with other dogs. The cat thinks she is a new play toy and they will chase each other out in the back yard until they both are exhausted. She can jump up on the furniture and the bed when she wants to.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becky, a Shawnee Mission Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
