Marsha's Story...
Name: Marsha
Color: White
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix
Gender: Female
Age: 6 Years
Marsha is a sweet, submissive girl looking for a loving forever home. This bashful girl needs a confident owner experienced with small breeds.
Big fan of: Exercise! While Marsha comes off very mellow, she is a Jack Russell Terrier and will need long daily walks to keep her happy and sane.
Not a fan of: Being towered over – this can make her cower and even tinkle a little bit! Marsha prefers when people kneel next to her.
Special Features: Marsha is proud of her age and thinks you should be too! If you are over 55 years of age, please ask about our Young At Heart Adoption Special, which applies to animals over 5 years of age.
Dream Home: Marsha has lived with dogs before and could do so again. She would prefer a confident, mellow male that won't overwhelm her. A confident cat would also be alright, so long as the cat can stand its ground and not run away from Marsha if she starts to chase after it. Any children in Marsha's home should be over 12 and have plenty of experience with little dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marsha, a Bellingham Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
