found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Blueberry is currently living in a foster home with other dogs (both big and small) and a cat. She loves to play, play, and play more! Blueberry absolutely loves her crate. She plays and takes naps in it. Blueberry is making great progress on potty training, manners and social skills. She has tons of puppy energy and loves exploring in the yard. Blueberry loves to petted - once you start, she doesn't want you to stop! She is proving to be a very smart girl - she already knows how to sit and will easily learn other commands and tricks too. Blueberry also has 3 sisters, all with "berry" names. If this sweetheart of a dog sounds like a good match for you, please ask about her today!
****Her adoption fee is $350.****
The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed.
All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws.
Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $25 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.
The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
