Roscoe is a charming, very cute, and somewhat comical little character of a dog who loves to hang out with you and be your buddy. He has a shorter coat; however, he has this funky strip of longer hair down his back, representing a “Mohawk.” He also has the ‘cutest in the world’ under-bite. Roscoe is too cute! Weighing at about 9 lbs., Rocoe is a one-and-a-half year old Yorkshire Terrier/Terrier/Manchester Terrier mix who is friendly, happy, and social. He was rescued from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter.
Roscoe loves his walks, has done well meeting all dogs, boy, girl, big, or small (as well as with his indoor cat buddies) and true to his smile, seems to like everybody he meets. He also loves to play with his toys. He is wonderful at playing ball. He runs to get the ball and brings it back to you! He is completely potty-trained (however potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment) and crate-trained (he sleeps quietly in his crate at night, next to his foster brother’s crate). Roscoe has a wonderful personality and a warm heart. He is relatively quiet, but will alert bark if someone comes to the door. He does not mind being picked up and carried around. He is a great balance of playing and being low-keyed. He is a low shedding dog who rides well in the car and does not dig in the yard. He will be a great companion for hikes, beaches, as well as a TV buddy.
Roscoe is slightly shy upon first meet, or a brand new environment, but warms up quickly. He is a bit anxious at first, being in a new place with a new routine, but after about a week, settles down very nicely. He seems to favor the company of another dog, and this seems to be his best fit at this time.
Roscoe is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Roscoe, please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com. The phone number to the rescue is: 626-340-9316. There is no need to phone the rescue until you have first submitted an interest via e-mail. Please visit my website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com and go to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process and fees; thank you!
