Liza's Story...
Sweet, snuggly Liza is ready for a forever home! She's 3 months old and has been fostered with a dog and other cats. Lia is super friendly and outgoing, and would be great for a home with kids and other pets.

Liza came to our shelter after being let in a cardboard box with her siblings. She was bottle fed by a volunteer. Upon arrival, Liza was suffering from a severe eye infection that caused her eye to rupture. She had her eye removed by our veterinarian and is now pain free and a healthy, happy girl!!

Liza is spayed, vaccinated, and feline leukemia/AIDS negative. To meet her, please fill out via our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org. Adoption donation is $175

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a North Haven Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
