Maxine is a beautiful, playful tuxedo kitty who needs a new home. She loves to chase toys you dangle for her, to chat with you when she wants some loving attention, and to curl up in your lap and purr, purr, purr.
Her foster parents have nicknamed Maxine "Ninja Cutie," and when you meet her you will see why. First off, she's dressed in her all-black ninja outfit, except for her cute little white toes and necktie. Secondly, she can be quite shy when you first meet her, and she may just hide for a couple days in a new place. But then suddenly, when you think she'll never come out, she will appear out of nowhere at your heels and ask for some petting and play time.
She may still keep her distance for a few days, but when she really gets comfortable, the secret sweetie comes out and she climbs into your lap and purrs to your heart's content. She's a quirky kitty (one of her favorite foods is cooked asparagus!) but that's just part of her charm.
Maxine will do best in a quiet home where she is the only animal. She is spayed, negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, and worm and flee-free. If you would like to schedule a play date with this silly little girl contact Donna at (917) 691-9466 or straycatstrutnyc@ gmail.com.
