Hi People,
Please allow me to introduce myself: I’m Beau – and I am (according to my Mom) an adorable and very talented bichon boy of about five. She says I’m mellow yet playful, love getting belly rubs and am a master at the Bichon Wave (some people call it the patty cake.) I can also dance on my hind legs and am very entertaining.
Dad says to tell you that I am a champion cuddler who loves to snuggle up next to everyone - especially Mom. I’m the first one at the door to greet her when she arrives. I do, however, love to greet anyone that comes to visit. (I tell him that’s what you do when you’re a greeter! In fact, you can think of me as a one- dog Welcome Wagon!)
One of my very favorite things to do is the Bichon Buzz! I also like to play ‘tug of war’ especially when Mom plays with me. In fact, I am teaching her how to play. (She learns fast!) My doggy foster brothers are fun, too. It’s nice to have them around but I’m MUCH more about people than other pups.
I’m also housebroken and crate trained. I like to go on walks and I love to go on rides! I’m a perfect gentleman in the car. I enjoy looking out the window or curling up on the seat for a short snooze. At night I put myself to bed in my crate and sleep quietly all night long (but I’d sure love to sleep in the Big People’s bed. What could be better than that?)
Like many furkids, I would love to be in a home with my family who will spend lots of time with me and let me love them to pieces. Well, maybe not pieces, but you get the idea. I can either be with other furkids or can be the only pup in the house, as long as I have ‘my people.’
