So, y’all have heard of a Sadie Hawkins dance, right? Well, I was thinking of putting on a Sadie Barkins adoption! This way the dogs get to choose their forever families to go home with! Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful idea? It will be like a mix of speed dating and an agility competition. Like whichever family can go up and over the teeter-totter, through the fabric tunnel, up and down the stairs, then sit politely and wait for a treat in the fastest time will definitely be getting my vote. I don’t know if I can do all that, but I certainly like to stay active. I get a little nervous meeting new people, so being able to approach people that I feel comfortable with will make me feel completely at ease. I do get along great with the other dogs here, and I would love to spend time with sweet children of any age. I do not like to hang around with cats at all, and will let them know rather quickly. I came up with this Sadie Barkins idea the other night in my crate—I sure like having a place where I can relax and kick up my paws after a long day. So the event starts this weekend! I know that doesn’t give you a whole lot of time to get prepared, but with matters of the heart you kinda just have to go with it!
