Hi, my name is Alvin. I am about 2 years old and weigh 48 pounds. I am a basset hound mix. I was rescued just hours from being put to sleep at the shelter. Everyone was so happy to see me go because I was such a good dog. My foster mom can now confirm this is true! I am a sweet boy with a very gentle soul. I love to please and try very hard to listen to commands. I am fully vetted and on heartworm and flea preventative. I am housebroken and crate trained and I keep all my toys with me there and love my naps. I get along well with children, dogs, cats and kittens. I do very well on a leash and don't pull because I like to stay right by your side to make sure you're ok. I am still young and like to play but I am ok resting when my foster mom is busy. I am so happy to be out of the shelter and looking for a place to call home. I am a very unique dog and hope you can't resist this face!
