My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ryder is a very handsome black boy and appears to be purebred. He weighs 70 lbs. and is around 2 years old. Ryder was found in a big city high kill shelter when he was picked up as a stray. He is a good boy and gets along well with other dogs and with all that young boy energy he has a blast playing. We can cat test if necessary. He likes the attention he gets from people and he is a happy boy and gets all excited when he sees someone new coming. Ryder can be a little bit head strong so he would need an experienced dog owner/firm handler to show him the way. He would be an awesome companion for a family with older children who could run with him and play fetch with him and be his best buddy. Ryder settles down nicely and likes to come in and lay on his doggie bed and chew on his compress rawhide bones or a Kong filled with peanut butter. He is a boy who deserves all those good things and to have someone care about him and take the time to train him to be the wonderful boy that he can be. Ryder has been neutered, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and he is micro-chipped. He has also been kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative and he is crate trained.
