My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hammer is such a good looking black labby mix boy. What was he doing in that nasty shelter! He is just a young boy about 1 to 1 1/2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. Thank goodness Hammer is out of the shelter and now in a great foster home and thriving. He is a well adjusted and very loving young man who has good manners and does not jump on people. He is also very curious about his environment and likes to explore. Hammer is submissive with other dogs, but he loves running and playing with them. He would be considered a medium energy boy. Hammer loves swimming and running with his foster brother and sisters at the dog park. He also is well behaved on leash walks and is gentle with children he meets on the walk. We are not sure about kitties, but can cat test if necessary. Hammer likes laying his head in his foster mom's lap and getting his ears scratched and a hug. He is so 'stinking cute.' Hammer would benefit greatly with obedience training as he is still a young boy and gets into things. He is also very smart and is beginning to pick up some commands like sit and heel. He is also working hard on house training and has just about got that mastered. Hammer would be a great addition to just about any family and would love nothing more than to have a place to call home. Hammer is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. He has been kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
