Ralphie *Comeback Kid*'s Story...
Ralphie is a true comeback kid. He may have experienced some hurt early on, but bears no emotional scars. He is fun-loving, playful and loves attention.

He was rescued from a high-kill southern county shelter. His ears looked to have received an at-home crop job, but we bandaged them up, he healed and now he can blossom as a young carefree boy looking for fun and love from a great family!

Doesn't this dashing doll deserve a great family and his own home???????

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie *Comeback Kid*, a Kittery American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Kittery, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
