Goofy's Story...
Do you know why my name is "Goofy??" Stay tuned and I will tell you! Because I am one fun, Goofy Guy! And I'm looking for a forever, loving home who will have fun with me. I have a sweet nature and fun personality and will be a great addition to a friendly home who can use a whole lotta Love and Playfulness in their life!! My mom was a feral cat and she gets to live with the lady who took her in. She had us 5 kittens and I am the Goofiest of them all! I think that's something to be proud of, don't you??!! "Goofy", like the Disney character....And I'm quite a character! If you think you have room in your heart and your home for a fella like me, come in and see me at the El Cajon Shelter. I'm in cage #131 with 2 of my orange brothers. I may seem a bit shy at first, but it's kinda weird here with all the dogs barking and stuff. Check me out!! Perhaps we will be lifelong pals. I think I would like that and I bet you would too!! So, if you can call me "Goofy", can I call you "Dopey?" LOL!!!! You won't be disappointed!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goofy, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
