My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I believe that Ward had been a stray in the city. I have to tell you, that city shelter really went the extra mile for this young boy! They treated him for kennel cough and for squirty poo! They really wanted to find him a home but he has a curious habit of growling when you scratch his sides. He has not offered to bite anyone but if you don't know chihuahuas, I can see how it would be scary. We are not finding it difficult to train him out of that habit but because he still does it from time to time, we are thinking the he would do best in a home with no small children. We think that Ward is about 2 - 3 years old - even though there is white on his face, he is a young dog. His weight is 7 1/2 pounds. Ward is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventive and is microchipped. He wanted you to see how great he looks in a Halloween costume!
