My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CLARK is 2 years old, 60 lbs, and a total dreamboat.

From the foster: CLARK has been an absolute doll! He is VERY well behaved. He sits, walks well on the leash, he is quiet, and has a heart melting smile. He greets me with lots of kisses and is very gentle. He put his paws on the counter in the bathroom the first night he was here. When I said "get down that is not polite," he immediately got down. He has not done it again. The first night he was here I gave him a bath and he did well. He didn't seem to LOVE it but didn't hate it either. We will see what he thinks about his next one. He seems to know what a couch is. When we first walked by it his ears perked up and his tail started wagging even faster. He has not attempted to climb on the couch though. When he has be out in the house with me he has done very well. He hasn't chewed one thing or gone anywhere he isn't supposed to be. He loves treats, which at my house means blueberries and carrots. He likes the grass, being outside, and going for walks, but he also gets really excited when he sees the front door. His ears perk up when he hears or sees someone walking down the street. His tail has been wagging almost nonstop since he got here. He is a very lovable little guy and loves to give hugs or just sit with you. He also likes to fetch the ball. He brings it back MOST of the time. Lol. He has not barked or growled since he has been here. He has whined a few times when I first out him in the crate for bedtim, but he stops within a minute or two. He loves his bone and blanket, he has arranged it into a little "nest." He is such a sweetheart. My husband says he has "honest and trusting eyes." He warmed up to my husband very quickly and has decided he is his new best friend. He will be meeting our cats very soon.

We introduced CLARK to a variety of dogs at the shelter. Some of them were huge and very annoying. 1 in particular jumped all in his face and climbed on him. CLARK has done nothing but display PERFECT manners. He just walks away. He didn't even correct the annoying dogs. When we took him to the vet for a checkup he was so relaxed he just sprawled out in the floor of the vet's office. What a great dog!!!

CLARK is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $425 adoption fee includes a health certificate and transport to the Midwest.
