Jasper's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jasper's Story...
Jasper is a beautiful cattle dog. He doesn't know it though, because Jasper is blind. His D.O.B. is 5/1/10. Jasper will need a home that can accommodate a blind family member. He will need lots of patient and loving care. He is a good boy that is treat motivated. He loves his toys. He loves to go for walks, he can walk by other dogs, but is going to have to be an only dog in the home. Being blind makes him more cautious and sometimes unpredictable with other dogs. He would need lots of small baby steps to learn his new surroundings and home. He knows his commands of sit, down and shake, and seems more than willing to learn new things. Please come and meet him soon.

Meet-Your-Match Canineality color is: Orange Goofball!!!
For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Lake Odessa Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
