Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everyone,
My name is Joey and I’m an adorable bichon of about 2 or 3 years old – with a beautiful bichon coat and a magnificent bichon tail! Mom says I am very calm and contented (she says that’s a wonderful combination) a real lover boy and an easy fur kid to have around -- as I get along with just about anyone and everyone.
My two foster doggy brothers think I’m pretty neat. They like having me around and so does Mom (Did you guess that already?). She says that I am very smart, know and understand basic commands and love to be close - but I don’t demand attention. Mom says that’s pretty remarkable.
I enjoy my foster home and yard – and just love to go for walks! Mom says I’m a natural on a leash (I don’t know what that means but she smiles when she says it!) I am almost housebroken (I’m learning fast from my doggy brothers) and that I want to please ‘cause I’m a bichon, you see!
I’m a really happy little guy, am very well behaved, a good little eater and a cuddler. Mom says I'm just a darling little guy who likes to be near people I love – but I’m not intrusive. Mom says I am content with myself, and enjoy both doggy and people friends around me.
As you can see from my picture, I'm very handsome! And I have a twinkle in my eye. Having a special person I can love and adore is what I want most in the world! And if there is doggy buddy or two in my Forever Family, that would be wonderful too!
If I sound like the kind of guy for you, please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.org and ask for Joey, 'cause I'll be waiting to hear from you.
