Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a 1 year old spayed female Cairn Terrier mix. She is super adorable and a small sized dog. She walks great on a leash and does awesome with other dogs, she loves to play! She is crate trained and in her previous home she slept at night with the children. So, she is wonderful with kids! She needs a little work on her housetraining and has a bit of a chewing addiction, so would need an adopter who is willing to work with her and has the time to train her and be with her most of the day while she is learning proper puppy etiquette on what is a chew toy and what isn't! She is still very much a puppy and should be easy to train. Come visit this sweet girl today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Staunton Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
