Miss Slinky is a "comfort cat".  She was born about July 3, 2012 and is just a love!  Slink has been dipping into the snacks a bit too much and is anything but "slinky" now, but her charm and personality are wonderful.  A man noticed her hanging around his home and shortly after that she had three gorgeous kittens.  When the kittens were old enough for a home of their own, he brought the whole family to us since he didn't have the funds to spay "Miss Slinky."  She is a happy girl - just a nice kitty that would love to hang with you for many years to come.  The adoption fee for Slinky is $50.

Here is an update from Slinky's foster mom:
Slinky  is such a GREAT cat!  She gets along well with both the male & female cats here.  Plays with them, but is also VERY good at entertaining herself!  Her favorite toy, "The Tunnel" will go to her Forever Home with her!  She spends hours playing in it!!!  She's also a great lap cat & LOVES to snuggle up as close as possible with foster Mom on the couch or in bed!  She's really the perfect cat!!!  She's even willing to play with the small dogs  (Chihuahuas) here!

A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.

The average adoption fee for kittens up to 12 months old is $85. Cats over 12 months old are $75, but may be higher or lower based on their adoptability.  All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES

We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
