My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Can you feel cool wind and damp spray on your face? No, you're probably not at the beach... more than likely you're getting lots of puppy kisses from sweet Cecil Seabreeze! This little sweetheart is about 2 yrs old and weighs just over 14 lbs. Formerly known as "Droopy," Cecil was at high risk in an Animal Shelter northwest of Houston.

When DREAM received the heartfelt plea from the shelter's volunteer Laura, she indicated that the shelter was very full, and they were desperately seeking rescue for as many of their dogs as possible, so others would have more time, as the shelter did euthanize for space. That's really all we needed to know; and even though our foster roster was also very full, our foster homes were in short supply and funding for on going medical care for our rescues was very slim, we couldn't turn him away! Could you?

Cecil is currently "vacationing" at our awesome veterinary clinic where he is scheduled to be neutered and have his teeth cleaned. He's a healthy fellow, and he's heart worm negative! We'll be receiving new pictures soon, but in the mean time, you can see through the bars, the sweet little face that will be ready to break out soon and find comfort and love, snuggled on a lap that could be yours!
