I am an 8 year old pit bull girl. Some people might think that makes me a senior, but I am full of life, and ready to move and groove with a family or person of my own. I was rescued by AFLAR after being made to have a lot of puppies. I was a good mama, and love to be a mama to people as well as puppies. The volunteers who love me say I am sweet and gentle and kind. They tell me I am a very good and mellow girl with a quirky personality and a lot to say. They love my big smile. I smile because I am so happy to be loved at last.
I love cruisin' on walks and exploring new places, rolling in the grass and cuddles on the couch (when I am allowed on the couch) I get a little excited when I see other dogs while walking, and I'm working on that. I just want to say "hi", but I'm told it's bad manners, so I am learning to sit nicely and wait for others to go by.
I give kisses to the doggie friends I have, and I am learning to play for the first time in my life. I never knew what toys were before now. I have my favorite teddy that I sleep with every night and take out of my crate every morning.
I am a breast cancer survivor and the vet said I will live a long healthy life now that AFLAR has helped me get better.
I am spayed, microchipped and UTD w shots.
Please contact AFLAR if you would like to give me a forever home. 805-445-3535
