My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB April 15, 2011.

This beautiful boy is also quite a character. He was rescued from a high volume, country shelter where his future was very uncertain. Luckily there was a spot in a TCR foster home so he could be saved. Kenny is a real love bug. He has to sit on your lap and snuggle in bed. If you take him home, you will have to make time for him in your day. Kenny does not like to sequestered or left alone for long periods of time. His foster mom believes Kenny was left in a small space for long periods of time by a woman. When he was first rescued he did not like women and became very agitated if left for any length of time. Now he is totally devoted to his foster mom and follows her everywhere. When she leaves for work he sits and waits at the door for a long time waiting for her to return. When she returns he runs to greet her and welcome her home. In many ways he more like a dog than a cat. He gets very jealous when she pets anyone else in his foster home and he comes and tries to nose his way into it. He gets along with most of the other cats in his foster especially the girls. He especially loves the dog and loves to rub against him. On sunny afternoons he can be found sleeping on his foster mom’s bed with his head on her pillow.

Kenny would definitely like to be the only pet in the house so he doesn’t have to wait his turn to be loved. He will need someone who will be very reassuring to him and help him transition to his forever home so he doesn’t feel abandoned again. In return Kenny will be your very best friend ever. He will be there to share your day, snuggle when you’re sad and make you laugh with all of his very funny antics. All he needs is a chance.
