Blanca's Story...
Blanca's story is one of incredible survival. THis sweet soul was 'adopted' by a Priest in Tijuana and was used as a guard dog for the church. She was left outside for the majority of her life and was literally starving to death when a good Samaritan decided to step in and convinced the Priest to surrender her to a local vet. We were notified of her and this situation and now she is with us in San Diego. Blanca is about 5 years old and truly, the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She is incredibly submissive to other dogs and absolutely loves children! We have nicknamed her the "Makeout Bandit" because her favorite activity is smothering humans and dogs in kisses! Blanca is spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in adopting this amazing beauty survivor, please fill out our online application: http://www.theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ Adoption fee: $150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blanca, a San Diego Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
