Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Latest update: Sept 2014
Milo's new favorite thing is when his foster mom throws colored floating balls into the kiddie pool. He could play for hours! He really benefits from their big fenced yard and needs other dogs to play with, dogs his size or bigger would be best for him as he is really active and fun and the little dogs can feel a bit overwhelmed by him. His foster mom says, "He really is a good boy in so many ways. He is very smart! He automatically sit's for his meals now and snacks. He knows 'no' really well.
Milo is doing so well in his foster family. He is with other dogs that he likes and he is growing and changing by the day. He absolutely loves the fenced yard so he can run, play fetch and tire himself out. He will also lay out there with his canine buddies.
Milo can be a little shy with new humans, he will bark at first until he settles down and realizes you are A-OK. His foster family is working on this. He recently went to some new friends' houses and did great - within a few minutes he was taking treats out of their hands. They also introduced him to their dogs and he did great. He will bark at first but then settles down with cues.
Milo really likes to be with his humans - even when outside he wants to be able to see them. He has a high energy level and his foster family is working hard with training and exercise. He also loves the doggy pool!
Milo is about 5 months old (as of late August) and he is just a lovebug! Milo does not know a stranger, everyone is his pal and he bonds quickly to the human he has chosen. We are all guessing about his breed(s). He has a shepherd look but the body of a brittany or pointer. He has some terrier personality traits too - he has quite the personality on him and loves to attack the broom while his foster mom is sweeping (or tries to sweep ; 0 ). He weighs about 40 lbs now and is “all legs”, so adorable!
