Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful girl wandered up to a stranger's house absolutely exhausted and starving. After eating several bowls of food, she slept for hours. It seems no one was looking for this sweet girl; so the home owners took her to the vet where it was determined she is about 2 1/2- 3 yrs old and has been spayed and is heartworm negative. Joleen has proven herself to be a perfect lady. She loves car rides and rides well, she so far has been a lady in the house and not had an accident . These good Samaritans that rescued Joleen also have a few small dogs and so far she has been very nice with them, no aggression at all. Joleeen will sit on command and shake hands and "speak" when asked. Unlike a lot of Hounds; Joleen is not the howling, barking type and they have only heard her bark 2 times! Although these folks love her and say she is the "perfect dog"; they cannot keep her and have asked this rescue to try and find her a loving home where she will be considered part of the family. Please open your heart and homes to this special girl and you will be rewarded with nothing but love and devotion from her. If you would like to fill out an application to make Joleen your new family member, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com.
