My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a 2 yr old female that is looking for a patient and loving family. Please read the entire bio before submitting your application. She is a happy, playful, energetic girl but is uncomfortable in busy atmospheres and can get overwhelmed with to much activity. She is good with other dogs and has energy to run, fetch toys or play tug. Bella would like a home with a male dog to bond to and seek guidance from, so maybe an older boy that is still very active. She needs a boyfriend who is well balanced and not dominate and one that is willing to share his toys, water bowl, food and beds, dogs that get jealous or possessive will not be a good match. Bella can be submissive with pushy dogs and becomes scared and unsure of what to do. Her perfect home would have a large backyard with plenty of room to stretch out her legs. She loves car rides and quiets walk but once again, is not comfortable in places with a lot of activity. She has seen cats and did not show any aggression towards them so we think she will be okay with training and guidance. Bella does know her basic commands and listens very well. She is crate trained if necessary but has good house manners to be on her own. We think she would be ok with teenage children as long as they are good with big dogs, please no children under the age of 13 yrs old. Bella is emotionally a special needs girl and her health issues stem from her emotional state. When she gets upset, overwhelmed, scared or nervous she has no bladder control so she needs a family that will not mind cleaning up accidents. Bella's new family will need to drive to Fort Morgan multiple times to ensure a good fit before taking her home. Bella is a wonderful, affection sweetheart that would be a super companion for a family who will love her for who she is and not expect a tough gsd to guard and protect them.
