Hiccup's Story...
Hiccup is a sweet little brown and sable tabby kitten. He is like his namesake - intelligent, sweet and daring - an all out sweet little boy with a bit of a wild side. He absolutely loves to be petted and scratched and he will walk around on your chest and snuggle under your chin while you are at it. He's also a playful fun kitten and likes to run after the other foster kittens, chase toys and then sleep with you in your bed. He is fostered with both dogs and cats and is happy to play with either. He is particularly fond of puppy dog tails. He's about 10 weeks old and can't wait for his next adventure. Do you have room for a sweet rascal like Hiccup? Email us at info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/ and get the ball rolling quicker!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hiccup, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
