My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie came to us from a high kill shelter in WV. This little girl is full of personality! She is wonderful with other dogs, cats and kids. She does prefer a stable home environment but does enjoy outings. She would like a family that will include her in their day to day activities (perfect dog for a family with a parent who stays home). Sadie is a joy to be around and loves to cuddle up on the couch at the end of the day. She is crate trained and house broken. Her fosters have also worked on some basic commands.

We are a 501(c)3 Rescue operating in the VA, MD, DC, and WV areas - with the ability to adopt out of state. A copy of our adoption application can be found on our website - www.openheartsrescue.org. Please fill out and forward via email to openheartsrescue@yahoo.com. Meet and greets are only scheduled after an approved application is received. The adoption fee on our dogs is $125.00. We are a foster-based, volunteer organization and answer all emails as quickly as we can.
