Izzy's Story...
IZZY is an 11 week old Terrier mix that PAAC pulled from Kingsville Animal Control. He is the brother of Bobby and Benji who have already been adopted.

FROM IZZY'S FOSTER MOM: Izzy is a very playful ...little pup who likes to run after toys and tries to hide his rawhide bones. We keep finding them in the couch cushions, under the cat tree, etc. As with any puppy, you are going to need patience and training because he is still young. We are currently working on potty pad training and he does well in his crate at night (just cries for a little bit & then goes to sleep.) Izzy is in a home that has kitties and he just wants to play. Our youngest kitty humors him & plays along - very cute! He likes being held after he winds down, but will need training to stop the puppy nipping. Most of all Izzy loves the chew toys, so be sure and stock up on them!

IZZY is neutered, up to date on age appropriate shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $50.00. You can submit an adoption application at IZZY is in a foster home and can be seen with an approved application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Corpus Christi Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
