My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Kuiro a 6 year old neutered pit bull terrier. Kuiro's owner moved to Florida and left him with in-laws. The in-laws are not treating him kindly leaving Kuiro tied-up 12 hours a day in their basement and now the garage even when it is freezing cold or hot outside. Kuiro is housebroken but sometimes after not going to the bathroom for 12+ hours, he may have have an accident.

Kuiro is living a life of neglect. No love, no attention, not vets visits or strolls in the park.

Kuiro has a friend who visits him about once a month or every other month who 's has been taking care of him, buying him good food, etc. She even take him for long walks and sometimes a hike. She thinks Kiuro is a great dog but can't take me because of restrictions at her apartment complex where she lives!

The owner cannot provide Kuiro a good life and wants to find him a new home. Because they are trying to sell their house in Garfield, NJ they would like to find him a home ASAP.

Kuiro grew up around young children and loves children & adults.

We don't know about other dogs. Kuiro went to a dog trainer and she said he would need to take some socialization/training classes to get used to other dogs. Kuiro is looking for a forever home where he can get an appropriate amount of exercise, for now, Kuiro prefers to be the only dog in the household.

Please help Kuiro get out of the dungeon. If you'd like to meet Kuiro please contact Leslie by calling 617-877-5958 or emailing koernerleslie@gmail.com

Note from Kuiro: The friend that visits, is the nice person who loves me took these photos and it is she who bought me the harness, blankets and everything I am sleeping on. It appears in the photos that the family where I live cares but really they don't. Trust me, I spend all of my days alone in the garage or basement tied up.
