Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful people at the Del Norte County Animal Control located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play.
We want you to see some really great dogs that they have in their care--it's just a 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new BFF! *Please note that occasionally there are volunteers who can assist with transporting the dog from the shelter to Grants Pass/Eugene/Salem/Portland *
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously fixed and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.
Meet Dazzle! She's a young adult female Am Staff blend. She's a happy, wiggly, friendly girl who is also a beauty! She loves everyone and has been getting along nicely with our other dogs on the play yard. She has an easy going personality, isn't bad on a leash, and is pretty well-mannered! She'll be an awesome dog for some lucky person! She is uninterested in our pound cats and we just had her spayed. She was adopted, but returned through no fault of her own (allergies). She was a devoted companion, good with kids, no accidents in the house! Come out and meet Dazzle!
