My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma Rose can be described in one word: PRECIOUS! She has been through so much in her short life of about 1 year old and yet she is a happy, sweet and loving little dog. Tragically Emma Rose was very abused prior to her rescue. She was starved, kicked, whipped, tied up outside in the summer heat and hit by previous owners. From the moment Emma Rose arrived into HSR, she has barley stopped wagging her tail. Her foster family says she is one of the most tender and loving dogs they have ever rescued. She is spunky and loves to play with the other dogs in the house and she is great is kids. Emma Rose loves to snuggle, a lot! She sleeps all through the night and is being potty trained by her foster family. Because Emma Rose was kept on concrete outside, she didn't know what grass was when she first arrived at her foster home. Emma Rose would be a wonderful family dog with children old enough to know not to playfully bang or hit her. She would do best in a home with another dog to run around and be buddies with.
