My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Howdy, friends! My name is HANK, and I'm a Shepherd/ Lab mix who's got a whole lot of love to give. I'm only five months old, so I'm ready to learn all kinds of new things. I already know how to sit on command, and I'm a smart, young dog with a high learning ability. I have a fun-loving and friendly temperament, and I'd be a great family pet. I enjoy playing with other dogs, as well. I love to play fetch, and I'll need my daily exercise to be at my best, so it's important that I have a good-sized yard. The shelter staff isn't sure yet if I've been house trained, so I'll probably need to work on that when I get home. I'll want to have a soft, snuggly bed in the house, as I'll want to be close to my family. Won't you come visit me so we can get to know each other? I'm waiting for you at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. They have a great play yard here where we can spend some time, and maybe you could throw a ball around for me so we can have some fun.
