Tic Tac's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tic Tac's Story...
June 26, 2014: Tic Tac was brought to us from a nearby Animal Control Officer a couple of weeks ago. He and his other litter mates were found abandoned under a bridge in a rural area next to a railroad crossing. I wanted to make sure he was healthy before posting his profile.

He is a mellow boy, though is a puppy, so loves loves loves to play. He sleeps through the night (in my bed, ha ha), but I always let him outside along with the other dogs and puppies around 2-3 am just in case.

August 20, 2014: He is approximately 10-12 weeks old and will be receiving his first vaccination this month. It will be the adopter's responsibility to have him neutered when he is more mature.

January 10, 2016 Update: He's a great boy and loves to sit on your lap. He also plays well and chases around other small dogs. He's house trained, knows his commands and knows his name (names: Tic Tac, Ticky, Tickers, etc.)

August 2016: Since having his pituitary gland removed (due to tumors), he has been very healthy and is becoming a chunky monkey! He can't jump, so he will have to be lifted on to a bed or furniture that he's allowed on. He's mellow, is not a barker, and gets along with small dogs. He is roughly 2-2 1/2 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tic Tac, a Arenas Valley Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Arenas Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Arenas Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arenas Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arenas Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arenas Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
