My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a Great Dane estimated to be about 2.5 years old. She is considered to be a small Dane, weighing at about 100 lbs. although, in comparison to other dogs, she is still a giant dog. She is very sweet, friendly and playful. She loves taking long walks and she is great in the car. When at home she enjoys cuddling on the couch.

Stella gets along with other dogs, but she plays pretty rough and she is definitely an alpha dog. She feels more comfortable around women and she can get protective over her human companion, especially when "strangers" come in the house, but with proper introduction, she is sweet and welcoming, especially if you give her a treat.

Because of Stella's protective tendencies, we prefer that she goes to a home with an authoritative owner and no small children.
