This adorable little guy is JR, a 4 year old Yorkie mix that would just love a great home of his own. JR came to us from our Newark facility when he was turned in by his family who said that he suddenly growled at them. We have gotten to know little JR very well now and he doesn't seem too growly at all. As a matter of fact, JR is a little love that wiggles his stubby tail nonstop when he greets one of his many new friends, and he stands on his hind legs to gently lean against you, and ask for some attention. JR was a bit neglected in his former home and had some patches of hair missing due to possible flea allergies, but he is flea and itch-free now, and his hair is growing in beautifully. Little JR is so gentle and sweet, and just wants to be cuddled. He has excellent manners, takes treats very gently, and walks perfectly on a leash. He doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs and JR would do best in a home with no small children under the age of 10. This tiny terrier is so hopeful that his special someone will come along and give him the lifetime of happiness that he's dreaming of. Please come meet JR and we know you'll love him too.
