Cher's Story...
UPDATED 3/28/ 2008

Hello, my name is Cher and I am 9 weeks old. I am a Jack Russell mix. Sorry, my foster Mom does not know what I am mixed with. I am very playful and my foster mom is looking for a home that is devoted to making me a happy and social dog. My foster mom is very picky about my new home and is looking for someone that is either home during the day to let me out or is prepared to have someone come in during the day to help me get housebroken. My foster Mom has given me the first sets of shots so I am ready to go to my new home. Won't you please call her but I will warn you, she will make sure that I am going to the best home.

My adoption fee is $250.00 which covers my shots and spay.

If you have questions about the adoption process please go to www.secondchancedog.com You can also find an application under the forms section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cher, a Fredericksburg Parson Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Parson Russell Terrier for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Parson Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Parson Russell Terrier breeders who help with Parson Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
