Lucky is lucky now that he is at the shelter but he had a some rather bad luck recently. He was found with a gash on his head and a laceration on his left eye. The gash is not serious. Unfortunately, his eye had to be removed. It's amazing how resilient dogs can be, Lucky is no exception, except he is exceptional. Through all the poking and prodding at the vet, Lucky was nothing but wonderful. Lucky is only about 9 months old and about 60 lbs. Lucky is in foster care and is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. Please call his foster family at 231-769-8332. ** Ask about possible Adoption Transportation assistance if you are not in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95. All adult dogs will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots before adoption.
