Tanya Tucker's Story...
Hi there, I am Tanya, and I am one of the prettiest, neatest cattle dogs you will ever see. I am 1-2 years old and just came into the rescue. I am a real sweetheart and while I am still learning my basic commands and leash work, I am a patient and willing learner and excited to discover new things. In fact, I am so gentle that my foster family's 14 month old daughter can lead me around.

I like people and would rather spend time with you than other dogs, although I am learning to have doggie buddies. I am not mean but I do like to boss the boys around. I am still recovering from my spay surgery so I won't be ready for adoption till the end of March. While I am currently living on a horse ranch, I have a cosmopolitan flair and enjoy the city as well. No matter where you live, I hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanya Tucker, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
